What bothers me a bit is that by doing this they’ve erased Nine’s whole deal. The Daleks vs. Timelords thing is gone now. In this new universe, The Doctor is the only Timelord, and by erasing all memory of him, the Daleks do not see him as their greatest enemy, but just some guy who got in their way that one time. It’s no longer personal to them. They do not remember The Oncoming Storm. And not one of them remembers this:

Fan I Am: Hyperreal Fandom and Parody

Here it is (finally), the lecture given on Inspector Spacetime and fandom at NIU this past Friday.

Slight delay, I was travelling through time and space to a strange desert land with no internet access. I started the queueing submissions so those should be coming out over the next few days, written confessions will still have to wait a bit longer. Meawhile enjoy the video and knowing that random pictures you submit are being analyzed by academics.

I was so disappointed I had to miss this. Glad someone was filming it.
